The Lyra Light is an ultra bright, diffused and customizable LED strip to replace the dim dome light in your daily grocery getting, decked out overland rig, weekend camper, or any vehicle you choose! Installation takes just a few minutes, and it's compatible with thousands of different vehicles. If you can plug in a light bulb, you can install a Lyra Light! The Lyra Light is plug-and-play, meaning there’s no cutting, soldering, or any electrical work. Simply plug the connector in, stick the strip, and you’re good to go. Since the light is powered by your existing dome light, it will turn on automatically when you open your trunk and off when you close it. Installation takes under 5 minutes, and is so easy that anyone can do it, no electrical experience needed!

The Lyra Light itself is a bright, diffused, waterproof LED strip that provides significantly more light than a stock or even upgraded LED dome light. The Lyra Light is also more than just an LED strip, it’s a system of components you can use to build your ideal lighting solution. We offer splitters, extension strips, multiple power options, physical controls as well as remotes, timers, and much more! It's perfect for van builds or larger vehicles that need multiple lights and individual controls, and for those who just want a simple install that's plug-and-play.

The Lyra Light comes in three different colors! First we have a warm white (3500k) for cozy campfire vibes, this is my personal favorite! A cool white (5500k) for those who want max brightness and utility. This is the brightest and most light of any strip. Lastly we have RGBW, which can be any color you want (or at least 16.9 million+ different ones). You'll notice its RGBW not RGB, this is because the RGBW strip contains a 4000k white diode, allowing you to customize the color temperature by adjusting the tint! It produces a true white instead of the blue tinted white many other strips produce.

Add-ons & Options: If 1 meter / 39 inches isn't long enough for your rig, we also offer a 2 meter / 78in version for larger vehicles! Please select the "2M" for a longer strip. Not currently available in RGBW but coming soon! We also offer various add-ons to solve all your needs! If your vehicle doesn't have a dome light, pick the cigarette lighter power options. If you need to extend the cable to put your Lyra Light somewhere else, add the extension cable. Want two lights, pickup the Y-Splitter bundle which includes two Lyra Lights and a Y-Splitter to power both lights off one source! Bundle building tool coming soon :)

Tech Specs: Every Lyra Light is 1 meter/39 inches in length, and can be cut to any shorter length every 1 inch. We also offer a 2 meter version, and can make them even longer for those interested (message for more info!). The 1 meter version is 15W and the 2 meter is 30W, both are extremely low wattage and won't drain your battery. Every strip is IP67 water and dust resistant, meaning they can be fully submerged and still work! However if the trunk of your car is under water, you may have larger issues...

Included in the box: Included in every Lyra Light is the Lyra Light Strip itself which is 1 meter / 39 inches, with a 1 meter / 39in long cable and two standard bulb connectors for T10 (also called 192) and Festoon sockets. The festoon fits 20-44mm. If you have an older vehicle and require a different socket, please reach out. We carry T20 and BA9S plugs, but do no include them standard since they're much more rare and we don't want to create e-waste. If you need a BA9S or T20 connector, please reach out when you order and we'll throw it in for free <3. Also included are cable management bits and bobs, which include cable tie downs and zip ties to organize the cables if you need to run them externally.

The RGBW strip includes an inline controller and remote, no add-on needed! There are no printed instructions included, please refer to our video guide here on our website, Instagram or Youtube. Every car will be slightly different, we are working on instructions for common vehicles like the Subaru Outback, Crosstrek and Toyota Rav4/4Runner.

Compatibility: So how do I know if the Lyra Light is compatible with my car? The simple answer is, if it has a dome light in the trunk it is compatible! The longer answer is, literally any car is Lyra Light compatible if you pick an additional power source. We have adapters for cigarette lighters (12v outlet), as well as a DIY wiring kit to go straight to your battery. For pickup trucks, the DIY option is the go-to, or if you bed already has a light there's a high change it uses the T10 socket and the Lyra Light can plug right in. We also have something special up our sleeves for pickup trucks coming in the fall, keep an eye on our social media and website for when it drops! Here's a hint, it won't matter if you car has a dome light or not, the Lyra Light still know if your door is open on its own 😉

Special Note for Subaru Wilderness Editions: Wilderness Edition vehicles use a sealed LED unit which can't be tapped into using our connectors. Please select the cigarette lighter power add-on and plug the light into the outlet in the trunk of your vehicle.
